1. What We Collect
Rewardtactix collects the minimum information needed to operate the planning tool.
- Planning inputs — your destination, travel class, duration, number of travellers, and monthly spend categories. These are stored in your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage. They never leave your device unless you complete a payment.
- Payment information — when you purchase a plan, payment is processed entirely by Razorpay. Rewardtactix receives only a payment confirmation ID from Razorpay. We do not see or store your card number, UPI ID, or bank details.
- Access state — after a successful payment, your unlocked plan tier is stored in localStorage on your device so the session persists between pages. This is local to your browser.
2. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not create user accounts or require email registration.
- We do not access your bank accounts, credit card statements, or any financial data.
- We do not use tracking cookies for advertising or retargeting.
- We do not collect your name, phone number, or address unless you voluntarily provide them in a support email.
- We do not use third-party analytics platforms that fingerprint users.
3. Browser Storage
Rewardtactix uses your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage to maintain your planning session across pages. This includes:
- Your selected destination and trip parameters
- Your monthly spend profile and category allocations
- Your unlocked plan tier (after payment)
- A minimal click log used to track button interactions for debugging (stored locally, not transmitted)
You can clear all stored data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain. Doing so will reset your session and access state.
4. Payments — Razorpay
All payment processing is handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway regulated in India. When you initiate a payment, you are interacting directly with Razorpay's secure checkout. Razorpay's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment credentials.
Rewardtactix only receives a payment confirmation token from Razorpay to verify the transaction. We do not store this token on any server — it is recorded in your browser's localStorage for access verification purposes.
5. Affiliate Links
Card recommendation panels on this platform include affiliate links to credit card application pages on issuing banks' websites. When you click an affiliate link, the bank's website may set cookies to track the referral. This is governed by the respective bank's privacy policy.
Rewardtactix does not receive any personal data from the bank as a result of an affiliate click.
6. Third-Party Content
Rewardtactix loads fonts from Google Fonts and destination images from Unsplash. These services may collect standard access logs (IP address, browser type) as part of serving their content. Their respective privacy policies apply.
7. Data Retention
Since we do not maintain a user database or server-side session store, there is no personal data retained on our end. Any data you have stored locally can be deleted by clearing your browser storage.
Support emails sent to support@rewardtactix.com are retained for as long as necessary to resolve the issue and comply with any applicable legal obligations.
8. Your Rights
Under applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to know what data is held about you and to request its deletion. Since we do not maintain a user database, there is no server-side personal data associated with your use of the platform.
